SheltarHub Rental Property Platform
An intelligent property listing and rental platform with agent and admin dashboards, payment gateway integration, and real-time notifications—built to simplify and streamline the rental process.
Project Overview
SheltarHub is a rental property platform that enables homeowners, agents, and tenants to interact seamlessly. The platform required both agent and admin dashboards for managing property listings, user verification, and system-wide controls. I led the development of these dashboards and collaborated on building key modules for the main site.
We integrated key technologies to enhance platform capability, such as Paystack for payment processing, Google Maps API for geolocation, and RabbitMQ for asynchronous email notifications. Secure login and signup were implemented using OAuth 2.0 with Google and X (formerly Twitter).

The Results
After launch, SheltarHub recorded a significant rise in agent sign-ups and property submissions. The system architecture ensures fast performance, reliable user communication, and security across the board. With RabbitMQ handling queues, email notifications became more efficient and scalable.
The platform continues to grow with enhanced visibility and engagement from both agents and tenants, reducing listing-to-lease turnaround time while improving platform usability through modular, scalable code.

A custom-built website for Women in Mining Kenya (WIMKe), a grassroots organization and social impact enterprise operating in Western Kenya. The website helps them amplify their mission, share updates, and connect with stakeholders.

Women in Mining Kenya (WIMKe) needed a digital platform to present their work in the mining sector, share research and publications, post updates, and maintain a growing image as a community-driven enterprise.
